It has licensed its technology to Assure DigiTax, Inc. of Dublin, California to use the S/Mark® in tobacco tax indicia applications and remains a major shareholder of DigiTax. Frank and Dave Frank Doljack, Ph.D., Co-founder, Chairman/CEO Frank Doljack developed S/Mark® beginning in 1995 and designed its software implementation. He is a named inventor on 25 U. S. patents covering a variety of technologies and has held a variety of management positions in both large companies (Raychem, B. F. Goodrich) and small, developing companies(Metcal, Electronic Lighting, PowerStor and Conductimer). Additionally, he has provided technology and business development consulting services for companies such as Avery Dennison, Diablo Research and Orcon Corporation. Dr. Doljack was awarded his Ph.D. in Physics from Case Western Reserve University in 1971. Dave Woodward, Co-founder, President Dave Woodward most recently was Vice President & General Manager, EFI Corporation, manufacturer of high-pressure, light weight composite pressure vessels used primarily in fire fighters self-contained breathing apparatus. He has worked in large companies (Litton, Raychem)and companies starting from zero revenue (Metcal, OSD Envizion). He was Sr. Industrial Engineer at Litton. Since then he has held numerous management assignments in marketing, sales and business development. The majority of his experience has involved introducing new products into existing markets including establishing marketing and business models for new products and building Marketing and Sales teams for rapid market penetration. Mr. Woodward earned his B.S. Degree in Business Administration from California State University at Northridge in 1971. Tim Stewart, Legal Counsel, Director Tim Stewart, following six years in the U. S. Navy as a helicopter pilot, graduated from Hasting College of Law in 1980. He joined ComputerLand, the personal computer retailer, and for the next nine years served in various legal and business capacities including international business development and General Counsel. Mr. Stewart joined Metcal in 1990 and, as Vice President of Corporate Development was responsible for legal and patent matters, certain business development projects, and sales and operations in the Asia Pacific markets. During this period Mr. Stewart also managed business and market development activities for Electronic Lighting, Inc. Beginning in 1996 he has been providing corporate legal services to Electronic Lighting, Flextronics, Inc. and S-VISION. |
